1/2 cup green garlic (chopped)
10 green chilies (chopped)
2 cinnamon sticks
2 green cardamoms
1 black cardamom
4 cloves
2 bay leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 cup unsalted butter or ghee
2 cup chicken stock
Hot water as required

Cooking Instructions:

1. Take a deep sauce pan and fry cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms, bay leaves and white parts of spring onions, together in butter or ghee for 3-4 minutes until onions become light golden in color.
2. Now add rice and salt, cook with the fried ingredients on medium flame for 4-5 minutes and stir continuously so that rice fry evenly. After that put green chilies, green garlic and rest of spring onions and mix them well in the rice.
3. Mix hot water and chicken stock in a bowl and add this mixture to the rice so that rice would dip completely in the water and its level should approximately half inch above the surface of rice.
4. Add salt according to your taste and mix, cover the pan and let the rice cook on high flame for 5-8 minutes until water absorbs in the rice. When water seems to be almost dry, reduce flame to very low and let it cook for further 5-10 minutes until rice become tender. Also stir few times in between so that rice would cook evenly.
